All of our coffees are roasted in a wood-fueled roaster. Our founder, Carlo Di Ruocco, started the company in 1978 and it remains a family business. Carlo was honored by the SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America) with the 2015 Passionate Cup Award. He is credited with bringing Italian quality espresso to the SF Bay Area, and elevating it to an expected offering at cafes and fine dining establishments.
